About Yuting CHEN

Insights of construction industry with interdisciplinary backgrounds of Construction Project Management (PhD), Finance (CFA), and Legal knowledge (PGCert in International Business Law and now taking Diploma in Adjudication course from RICS)
As a Senior Lecturer, I teach Construction Planning, Project Managment, Production Management, etc., for both postgraduates and undergraduates, supervise 6 PhDs
As a Researcher, my research interests focus on contract management, project governance, dispute resolution, NLP in risk identification from contract documents, etc.
As a Practioner in the construction industry, I offer consulting services (including contract drafting, claim management, dispute resolution, etc); and provide trainings (FIDIC Certified Trainer of Fundamental Construction Contracts V2)

For Teaching, I teach subjects related to construction project management and was invited to teaching conferences to share my innovative ways of teaching and engaging
For Research, my interests are focused on contract management, contract enforcement, dispute resolution, etc (lifecycle of a contract in a construction project), have published several top journal and conference papers, was invited as journal Editors, won around £100,000 funding, and have been supervising 6 PhD students
For University Admin, I am Programme Leader of MSc Construction Project Management, External Examiner for both Civil Quality and Project Management subject area at University of the West of Scotlant and MSc Project Management at Regent’s University London
